Lurong Living Paleo Challenge

Lurong Living LogoToday I begin the Lurong Living Paleo Challenge…say wha?!?  Well, it’s an 8-week challenge designed to transform your life and improve your performance in the gym.  Sounds interesting right?  Here’s how it works:

  • 8 weeks
  • 10 WODs (workouts of the day)
  • Strict Paleo diet (no grains, dairy, legumes, refined sugars, alcohol, etc…)
  • Body measurements
  • Support charities
  • Community support
  • The chance to win $100,000!

I am READY to make a change!  I have spent the last 3 weeks traveling and eating things that I know are bad for my system.  My UC is starting to show me who’s boss and I need to take control back of my body.  I think what I’m most excited about is the opportunity to improve my workouts.  I really want to challenge myself and see what I can do.  By hopefully trimming down and toning my body a bit, my workout performance while increase and even my running might improve!

I will be documenting this whole journey including the various workouts and some new recipes I’m working on.  I hope you will follow along!

  1. Good luck with it all – I think Paleo is a very good food plan and I follow it pretty much, other than the occasional drink. But I sleep soundly and have a ton more energy when I eat strictly Paleo. Will be interested to read how you are doing and what you think of it too.

  2. The past few weeks proved to me that I need to get my butt back into Paleo gear. I’ve been feeling like crap, sleeping horribly, moody, cranky, you name it. And then the lightbulb went off. Since DL (well since about a week before DL) I fell off the deep end HARD. Pizza, bagels, beer, everything. I know reading about your journey will help me (hopefully!) shape up too. Good luck and can’t wait to read all about it!

  5. Eating Paleo has made a huge difference in how I feel when I’m hiking. I am less sore and more energized. No more sugar highs and lows and my muscle tone is definitely to my liking. I have only been doing it for a couple months, the changes came quick. Enjoy!
